Victim Notification You can now sign up to be automatically notified when the offender of a crime is being released or is scheduled for a Parole Hearing. Release dates and incarceration information is also available. Victims Compensation Program North Carolina has a compensation program to reimburse citizens who suffer medical expenses and lost wages as a result of being a victim of crime. Mothers Against Drunk Driving MADD-NC State Office offers community education, information and referral, and victim advocacy. Their mission is to stop drunk driving and support the victims of this violent crime. NC Coalition Against Domestic Violence The NC Coalition Against Domestic Violence provides community education and technical assistance to domestic violence programs statewide. NC Coalition Against Sexual Assault The NC Coalition Against Sexual Assault provides community education and technical assistance to sexual assault programs statewide. Sexual Offender Registry By clicking on the above title, you can obtain information about persons who have been convicted and registered by the State of North Carolina as a Sexual Offender. Offenders who have been convicted outside of North Carolina must also register if they are in the State for more than 15 days or if they plan on obtaining residency. By clicking the title below you can obtain information and statistics for Sexual Predators. Both of these sites are maintained by the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations. There is no charge for these services. Sexual Predator Statistics N.C. Department of Corrections By clicking on the above title, you locate a person who is incarcerated  by the N. C. Department of Corrections. You can obtain such information as release dates and dates for Parole Hearings. This information is for persons incarcerated by the State of North Carolina only, and does not include information on persons held in County Jails. There is no charge for this service. This site is maintained by the N. C. Department of Corrections. Administrative Office of the Courts On this site you can obtain information such as biographies on Judges, criminal court calendars, view readings from the Supreme Court Library and read about Supreme Court Rules. Information on the Appellate Courts is also available. Officers can even check their court date calendars to see when they have court and exactly what cases are scheduled. There is a tremendous amount of information on this site. There is no charge for the information on these pages. This site is maintained by The Administrative Office of the Courts. Criminal Records Checks Here, you can obtain criminal background checks on individuals. This is a statewide check for North Carolina only. There is a charge for this service.
