  • Wayne County Wage, Salary and Fringe Benefit Survey
    The Development Alliance office surveys major manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors yearly or every other year on their current wage, salary and fringe benefits.  For a copy of this report, please email the Wayne County Development Alliance

  • Company Policies and Fringe Benefits - These reports, compiled by the North Carolina Employment Security Commission, contain the results of a survey questionnaire designed to obtain information about the benefits most commonly offered or provided to employees. Included are totals for Managerial and Professional employees, Clerical and Technical, and Production, Maintenance & Service workers. Within each of these categories, information was also obtained for full time, part time and temporary/contract employees.  Includes reports on the following:
    • Health benefits and health insurance - Contains information and statistics about employer provided health benefits, including types of health insurance and employee coverage statistics.
    • Dental care plans - Contains statistics about employer provided dental care benefits.
    • Disability insurance - Contains information and statistics about employer provided short-term and long-term disability insurance coverage.
    • Pensions and profit sharing - Contains information and statistics about employer provided pension and profit sharing plans other than 401(K) programs.
    • Day-care assistance - Contains statistics about employer provided daycare benefits.
    • Paid leave - Contains information and statistics about employer provided paid leave including holiday pay, sick leave and vacation time.
    • Education policies - Contains information and statistics about employer provided education fringe benefits.
    • Cost of benefits - Contains information and statistics about employer's cost of health benefits and the total of all benefits as a percentage to total payroll.
    • Miscellaneous benefits - Contains information and statistics about benefits including bonuses, relocation expenses and premium pay for holidays.

WebSARAS

Maintained by the Employment Security Commission, WebSARAS is a comprehensive electronic information dissemination tool that incorporates a graphical user interface (GUI) displaying statistics for the states and areas therein, in the Bureau of Labor Statistics regions. This system gives geographic based access to a variety of census, economic, labor market, and local information.
