State Demographics - This unit is primarily responsible for producing long range planning population estimates and projections (available by age, race, and sex). The State Demographics unit is also heavily involved in data dissemination. County and municipal estimates are highlighted on their web site. County and state population projections are also highlighted here. A small amount of state population and growth highlights are on this site as well.
LINC (Log Into North Carolina) - Allows you to create customized reports and includes over 1300 data items from state and federal agencies, historical data and projections (1960s to 2030) by state, county, municipality, township, tract, block group, and block coverage.
