Wayne County, NC – The following schedule changes will be taking place in observance of Christmas:
- County of Wayne Government Offices closed Tuesday, December 24, 2019 through Thursday, December 26, 2019. Offices will re-open Friday, December 27, 2019 for normal business hours.
- All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will close at 6:00 pm on Monday, December 23rd and will re-open December 27 for normal business hours.
- The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closing at 5:00 pm on December 23 and will re-open December 27 for normal business hours.
- The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed December 24 and December 25. The landfill and convenience centers will re-open December 26 for normal business hours.
The following schedule changes will be taking place in observance of New Year’s Day:
- County of Wayne Government Offices will be closed Wednesday, January 1, 2020 and will re-open Thursday, January 2, 2020 for normal business hours.
- All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will close at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 and will re-open January 2 for normal business hours.
- The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closing at 5:00 pm on December 31 and will re-open January 2 for normal business hours.
- The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed January 1 and will re-open January 2 for normal business hours.
