Wayne County needs to set itself the standards of some of the bustling counties in the state. We should be developing strategies to get IT companies down to Wayne County. A major project would to obtain a contract with a company to install fiber optic internet throughout all of Wayne County, and within that contract make them hire local people. This would create job opportunities for the citizens of Wayne county and would simultaneously create an opportunity for other companies seeking out fiber optics systems to move down to Wayne county and increase growth for the economy.
