All who really want to make a difference in Our Dog and Cats Life's and our Wayne County Shelter Goals, We need to get together ans go to the Civil House and speak to the Commissioner. If we all do this at once i believe the point will get across. We cant just do nothing those of you who respond to this post, we will gather and time and day and find out when the commissioner is available to see us as public meeting. There are far too many meetings and conventions held during working hours on weekdays. I attended a seminar about more assistance that the flood victims could receive but it was held on a Tuesday at...

There are far too many meetings and conventions held during working hours on weekdays. I attended a seminar about more assistance that the flood victims could receive but it was held on a Tuesday at 10 am. The majority of people are working or attending classes during that time and even if they are interested they could not attend. The County Commissioner's meetings are held at 9 am this is the same scenario, then they ask why is there so few participants. You have to work with the people if you want the participation to increase. Also we need to do a better job of letting people know about things happening around the community.
