With the remnants of Tropical Storm Eta expected to impact Wayne County on Thursday, the Wayne County Health Department will not be conducting free COVID-19 testing on November 12, 2020.
Next week’s free COVID-19 testing schedule has been modified and testing will take place on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 and Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 9am-1pm at the Wayne County Health Department at 301 N Herman St. in Goldsboro. Starting next week, pre-registrations will no longer be accepted and residents can simply visit the site during testing times to receive a test.
The Wayne County Health Department urges residents to continue practicing the 3 Ws. Wear a face covering, Wait 6 feet apart and avoid close contact with others, and wash your hands or use hand sanitizer. For updates on COVID-19, visit www.waynegov.com/coronavirus.
