Senior Center Activities
The Seniors themselves run their own Bible Study group and organized the Golden Oldies Get Moving, a group to raise money and plan trips and other activities.

Independent Activities
Not everyone who comes to the Senior Center enjoys structured activities and there are independent activities to enjoy:
  • 2 regulation pool tables

  • Checkers
  • Puzzles
  • Wii with sports programming
  • Daily Newspaper
The Senior Center is a vibrant place that has grown in attendance by leaps and bounds.

Public Outreach
We plan many special activities at the Senior Center aimed at educating entertaining, and drawing the public into our Center.

We have speakers on health related topics and also coordinate health related programs at the Mount Olive Meal Site.

County Government Partnerships
In an effort to keep expenses down and use community resources, we have formed partnerships within Wayne County Government, W.A.G.E.S. and Goldsboro Parks & Recreation.

Come visit the Senior Center and see for yourself how active and vibrant our Seniors are!
